Kanye West + Spike Jonez= We Were Once A Fairytale (Short Film)
Once again Kanye artistically depicts the demons within him. I hate to compare, but Kanye and Amy Winehouse both seem like they are on the same destructive path. Understanding that you have problems is only half of the solution, it’s what you do to change that matters the most. While I can’t say that great art hasn’t been the result of these two tragic souls I will say that I wish Amy and Kanye the best. We’ve already seen how this type of movie usually ends, so let’s hope it doesn’t happen here. Kanye is a brilliant mind, but it is too bad he lets himself get in the way. This is a great short. Well done guys.
